![]() Especially if you decide to focus her more on the "sniper/damage dealer" built than making her a support/buff character.Posting this as I know the in-depth reviews were what helped me take the plunge and get it done!! It’s lengthy, but hope it helps someone decide whether it’s for them or not. Hope this enlightened you on why it is recommande to give some Agility to the Elf.īut just to make it also clear, it IS also good to give her some Strenght if you want her to do more damage. To give some chance to her and to the players to fill those huge gap of negative hit chance, and to make her character enough fun and usefull in the game, the developers recommand players to boost to a certain degree her Agility. She also has one ranged technic that can dish out quite a lot of damage but at a cost of a huge hit chance and precision penalty. (Incase you never noticed this mecanic) Something a melee character never has to dealt with. Finaly, because she is mainly a ranged attacker, she ofthenly has to deal with Cover and Half-Cover of ennemies. So she is really at a disadvantage compare to say.the Barbarian who can fill the gap of his lack of accuracy and precision from his agility with a support bonus from his charisma.įor the Elf, all her hit chance rely on her Agility. Ranged attack tough can never benefit from the mecanic of "support" that give increased chance to hit an ennemy with the help of your partner base on your charisma bonus. The main type of attack for the Elf in this game are all focused around her ranged attack. Has there is no stats that increase the effect of armor protection in this game. Her sole and main protection come from her dodging skill and the ability to avoid taking any damage with it. The Elf is a really squishy characters with the lowest amount of HP in the game and will never gain/have a huge amount of armor to protect her and reduce damage taken. ![]() Agility provide increased Dodged % like others peoples said above. It's useless to deal massive damage in a combat game if you can never hit your darn ennemy ! (Or hit them only 1 time out of 2.) Agility provide increased Hit Chance and Precision. The developpers recommanded Agility for the Elf for these few reasons: Also, the recommanded stats are just.like the expression imply, a recommandation. It's just that the game developpers had to make a choice. more life! All the stats are generaly usefull when you have more of them in that game. More Constitution because more life = well. ![]() More damage = you win more !īut with that logic, why not recommand all the stats then ? Because you seem to suggest that all characters need damage. _-Īnyway, if i'm guessing you string of thought Darth Balrog, the game should suggest Strenght for almost everyone. Must be because of games like World of Warcraft who though it was funny to make agility increase ranged damage. I don't quite understand why people mix these two things and think Agility increase damage. Like for the Priestess or the Wizadress who use Magical Impact for their magical attack.) It will specificaly say otherwise if it is not. (Just like for most of the other characters. If you hover your mouse over each stats in the stat page, it litteraly say that Strenght increase the Physical impact damage of the Elf. ![]()
